Inclusion Statement
The mission of HeyFlow is to help businesses understand the impact of female reproductive health in the workplace and how it contributes to systemic challenges for women; like blocked career progression, limited accessibility, lack of inclusion, and the gender pay gap.
At HeyFlow, we focus on reproductive health topics such as menstruation, fertility, pregnancy, and menopause, and their impact in the workplace. We acknowledge that we may not always get it right, but we are committed to continuously evolve our terminology to reflect everyone’s lived experiences.
We recognise that female reproductive health affects individuals of various gender identities, including women, trans men, non-binary, and intersex people. Our goal is to use language that is as inclusive as possible within our employee experience diagnostics and broader discussions.
We use the original terms from existing studies when referencing statistics. While these findings may be relevant to all people who experience reproductive health challenges, we are aware of the lack of trans- and non-binary-inclusive research on reproductive health's impact in the workplace. We recognize that trans, non-binary, and intersex people may face additional intersectional factors that influence their experiences.
We understand that this is not the endpoint.
As part of our roadmap, we continue to consult with health and workplace experts.
Our ultimate goal is to empower businesses to create inclusive and supportive environments for all employees, regardless of gender identity or reproductive health experiences.
