The Realities of Mums in Tech : A state of the nation survey.

An estimated 17,000 women left the UK tech industry between Q4 of 2022 and Q1 of 2023, with a further 3,000 leaving before Q2*. That's roughly 110 a day.

We want to find out why.

As part of a collaboration with business charter and community MotherBoard, HeyFlow has launched a survey for mothers in the UK tech industry to hear about their experiences with the realities of being a working mother in tech.

With this data, we are looking to bolster the evidence for the MotherBoard movement and enable them to put a case forward to government bodies in creating actual change.
